Established in 1998, the Global Nomads Group (GNG) is an international NGO that creates interactive educational programs for students about global issues. GNG’s educational programs include (1) four types of videoconferences – The PULSE, Currents, Innovations and Rapid Response – where students learn about and discuss subjects with their peers from around the world in live, facilitated sessions; and (2) videos and learning content on a variety of international issues relevant to teachers and students. The Communications Center in partnership with Kaleidoscope is offering a number of workshop on Parental engagement. Designed for teachers and administrators, these workshops will help encourage and incorporate parent involvement within your schools. On April 1, 2009. Kaleidoscope Videoconferencing was awarded contract Q013009 by the University of Missouri for the Furnishing and Delivery of LifeSize Videoconferencing Equipment to its four campuses, MOREnet and all MOREnet connected institutions , from colleges and universities to K12 schools and public libraries. This contract allows all of these institutions to directly purchase LifeSize equipment off this contract at the best possible price.
